Kim Victoria Cattrall, born August 21, 1956, in London was the daughter of a British and Canadian actress from Canada and the UK. She was best known as Samantha Jones on the HBO show Sex and the City. The role that she played earned her the Golden Globe Award for 2002 as the best supporting female actor. In 2008 and 2010, she played the role in the two films Sex and the City and Sex and the City 2. The actress is also famous for her role as the lead in the 1980s films Police Academy Big Trouble in Little China Mannequin and Porky's. Kim Cattrall's performance in the HBO television show Sex & the City is her most memorable role. The character of Samantha Jones played by noted actress Cattrall was an important moment for her career. The sitcom didn't just boost her popularity with the nation's crowd, but also turned her into an international superstar, giving the actress a lot of fame and respect. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. Her most well-known performance was on the comedy/drama movie La Dolce Vita. It was a critical and commercial success that won an award of the Golden Palm and Oscar at Cannes Film Festival 1960. She was born in Sweden, Skane. She worked as a model before she embarked on her acting career. She was crowned in the Miss Sweden competition. Then she moved to the US, and began appearing in films playing small characters. She was in the role of Venusian guard for Abbott and Costello Go to Mars which was her debut credits role. In the following year, after appearing on screen in Blood Alley, she won the Golden Globe Award in the category of the Most Promising Youngcomer.
